Results are in for the latest rivalry between two Abbotsford churches, Peace Lutheran Church and St. Matthews Anglican Church (Anglican Church of Canada).

Peace was trounced in the Great Peanut Butter Drive last spring and wash hoping to recover lost pride in this contest, which took place in the month of October.

The two churches collected nearly a ton of non-perishable food (1960 lbs.) for the Archway Community Food Bank in Abbotsford. The results were: Lutherans 797 lbs. and the Anglicans carrying the day at 1163 lbs.

The penalty for the loser will be to supply coffee and goodies, when Covid permits.

Further community-benefiting competitions are being planned for 2021.
